March is National Nutrition Month. National Nutrition Month is focused on making healthy and informed choices on the food we eat. It focuses on the importance of having balanced meals with a variety of food groups. The Caf will focus on grains during this month. Head to the Caf to try different featured grain meals.

Nationally known calligrapher, Diane von Arx, will visit Xavier March 22 and 23. Diane has four illuminations in the Wisdom Books volume, the University’s most recent acquisition of The Saint John’s Bible.
During the day on March 22, Diane will provide free name lettering at the Gallagher Student Center. In the evening she will present a public lecture, Special Treatment Illuminations for The Saint John’s Bible, in Kennedy Auditorium.
During lunchtime on March 23, Diane will hold a brown bag gallery talk on the first floor of McDonald Library. In the evening, she will facilitate a calligraphy workshop (Illuminating a Letter) for registered participants.

Xavier University Theatre is happy to present The Vagina Monologues this weekend, February 24-25, in the GSC Studio Theatre.
An Obie Award-winning whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."
Performances are on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm and 7:00pm each day. Tickets are $3 for all and are available for purchase at the GSC Box Office or online at www.xavier.edu/theatretickets.
