Destination X is Xavier’s official overnight visit program for multicultural students and first generation students and we are looking for current students to help the Office of Admission! Destination X will occur Sunday, March 18th , and Sunday, April 8th , and we are in need of current students to host prospective students overnight in their rooms on campus. All hosts will be compensated for their time! Applications can be submitted online using the link below and will be due by Friday, March 2, 2018.

Travel the world with the 2016-17 Brueggeman Fellows as they present their research adventures. Journey to India, Greece, England, Peru, Nicaragua, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Europe, and Hong Kong.
The Presentations will take place Friday, February 23, 4-6pm, Kennedy Auditorium.
Application information for the 2018-19 Brueggeman Fellowship will be available.

Please join senior art major, Frank Geiser in the art gallery today (Feb. 20), 3:30-4:30 when he talks about some of the inspirations for his work, his work process, and how he connected the individual pieces into a unifying ideology for exhibition.

The Center for Diversity and Inclusion's annual feedback survey is still open for you to complete by the end of this week. Please help the staff understand our successes and our areas of growth by completing the survey. All staff, faclty and students are encouraged to complete this assessment. For the 3rd year in a row, Xavier Art students have been asked to exhibit their work at the Contemporary Arts Center in Downtown Cincinnati. Their work is currently on display with a closing reception being held this Friday, February 23, 6:00-8:00pm. The CAC is located at 44 E. 6th Street.

The College of Professional Sciences would like to invite all Xavier employees and students to the Xavier University Dementia Summit on March 1, 2018 at the Cintas Center. This year’s theme focuses on holistic approaches to enhance the quality of life of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Conference participant will learn and experience care approaches related to physical, spiritual, cognitive, and environmental aspects.
You can register for the conference at the student rate of $20 which includes breakfast and lunch. Go to www.xavier.edu/dementia-summit to register and choose the student option.
